피아니스트 이영은 은 이영은(동일 이름), 김재희, 신정희, Dr. Donn-Alexandre Feder을 사사하였고 Jeffrey Cohen, Wolfram Koessel과 함께 실내악을 공부하였다.
98년 강남 심포니 오케스트라 (지휘. 서현석) 의 협연자로 발탁되며 인정받기 시작, 3회 CMS 콩쿠르 1위, 1회 Mios 전국 콩쿠르 2위에 입상하였고 15회 Osaka International Competitions에 Recital Finalist로 초청받은 바 있으며 The North International Competition 에서 1위없는 2위를 수상하였다.
단국대학교(BM), 맨하튼 음대 석사(MM) 및 전문연주자 과정(PS)을 졸업 한 이영은 은 일찍이 학업 외 러시아 Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, St. Petersburg 와 프랑스 Académie International d'Ete de Nice, International Piano Course in Paris Class, 뉴욕의 International Keyboard Festival 등의 국제페스티벌에 참가하며 Elena Shisko, Victor Rosembaum, Jerome Rose, Nina Tichman, Eric Le Sage, Solomon Mikowsky 의 마스터 클래스를 사사, 연주하며 기량을 쌓았다.
뉴욕 The Solomon Gadles Mikowsky Recital Hall, The William R. and Irene D. Miller Recital Hall, 금호아트홀, 부산 금정 문화회관, 영산아트홀 에서 독주회를 가졌다. 연주는 Zenon Fishbein 교수에게, 또 음악 저널과 월간 뮤직 리뷰 의 비평란을 통하여 호평을 받은바 있으며, 서울문화재단의 후원으로 독주회 <바흐 인스피레이션 1.20C> 를 올린 바 있다.
2017 성남아트센터 콘서트홀에서 서울페스타&아크세크로 오케스트라와 협연, 체코의 스메타나 홀에서 North Czech Philharmonic Teplice , 2018년 루마니아 피테슈티 시립 오케스트라 정기연주회에 초청되어 협연하였다.
독주 외 꾸준히 피아노 앙상블, 피아노 트리오의 실내악 연주를 가지고 있고, 한국 전통음악가 들과 함께 현대 한국 음악 앙상블인 '앙상블 숨비' 를 창단하여 활동하고 있으며, 이 외 북경 주중 한국문화원 초청 한중문화교류 연주, 뉴욕한인아티스트 POW의 전시와 협력한 DA Concert 등 다양하게 음악적 협력의 폭을 넓혀왔다
음악저널 콩쿠르 심사위원을 역임, 울산과학기술원(UNIST) 예술수업 AI, 백석콘서바토리 강사로 다양한 학생들을 만나왔으며 앙상블 숨비의 대표를 역임하였고, 맨하튼 피아노 앙상블의 단원, 2016년부터 현재 클래식 전용 소극장인 세실아트홀의 <세실콘서트>의 기획 및 진행을 맡고 있다.

Young Eun Lee was born in Musical Family in Seoul, Korea. At the age of 16, She was selected and performed with Gangnam Symphony Orchestra as a soloist. She won the 2nd Prize at the North International Competition and 2nd Prize at Mios National Competition, 1st Prize at 3rd CMS competition.
Pianist Young Eun Lee’s performances have reached audiences with her warm sound and mature expression. Until now, she had recitals at Kumho Art Hall, Busan Geumjung Cultural Center, Young San Art Hall in Korea and The William R. and Irene D. Miller Recital Hall, The Solomon Gadles Mikowsky Recital Hall in New York City. Her solo recitals in Korea received respectable reviews from well-known press, most notably Eumak Journal and Music Review in Korea. Recently her solo recital, <Bach Inspiration I. 20 century>, was supported by Seoul Foundation for Art and Culture(SFAC). She was a soloist with North Czech Orchestra Teplice (Smetana hall) and Seoul festa & Artsechro Orchestra (Sung nam Art Center), Filarmonicii Piteşti (Centrul Multifuncțional Concert simfonic).
Having a wide array of musical interests, Ms. Lee performed various chamber music. Recently she had chamber performances at Sejong Art Center and Busan Cultural Center at Korea. She collaborated with artists in various fields, she performed contemporary pieces by Korean composers with Korean traditional musicians. She organized “Ensemble Soombi” with Korean traditional and classical musicians at 2016, Ensemble soombi has been selected and supported by the Arts Council Korea and The Korean Cultural & Art Centers Association.
Her teachers include, Young Eun Lee (the same name), Jae-Hee Kim, Jeong-hee Shin, Dr. Donn-Alexandre Feder. She had studied chamber music with Jeffrey Cohen, Wolfram Koessel. Young Eun Lee performed at Master classes from Elena Shisko, Victor Rosembaum, Jerome Rose, Nina Tichman, Eric Le Sage and Solomon Mikowsky.
